Delaware Black Awards (www.delawareblackawards.com) are a Peoples’ Choice Award. They were established to highlight some of the best African American Businesses, Community Organizations, and Individuals in the state of Delaware. Finalists were selected based on popular vote through online nominations. Our goal is to generate exposure for the Award Winners / Top Nominees while encouraging the Community and Youth who aspire to become Delaware's future Business, Community, Arts & Entertainment Leaders!

The Delaware Black Awards 2009 (DBA09) Gala & After Party will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at the Delaware Theatre Company, in Wilmington, DE. Nominees MUST be present (Self or Proxy Representation), at the Event, in order to be Honored. Advanced tickets are available online @ www.delawareblackwawards.com for $30 per person (or two for $55) and ad rates for our program book are attached, for your convenience. Retail ticket locations will be announced soon. We are preparing another elegant affair, and are excited about this year’s format of Celebration, Inspiration & Entertainment! The “Best of the Best” will be recognized & will receive their Delaware Black Awards. A portion of the events proceeds will be gifted to Christina Cultural Arts Center in Wilmington, DE.

3. Finalist must commit to attending by purchasing a ticket or sending representative to accept the awards in the case that they are the winner.
